HESF 110 Adapted Physical Education 1. This course is designed to teach and apply the principles of lifetime physical fitness, utilizing the five major components of cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition. A variety of health and wellness issues will be addressed.This PE Exam Review Course is offered jointly with the NC State University College of Engineering as a collaboration with Engineering Online; the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering; and the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE). A total of two credit hourstwo courses including one Fitness and Wellness course from the University approved GEP Health and Exercise Studies course list. (Fitness and Wellness courses are those found in the HESF 100level series). Students have the option of taking HES courses on an SU basis.
